Register for Young Catholics 2026-2027
St. Thomas Aquinas Young Catholics seeks to form missionary disciples of Jesus Christ through building authentic relationships with the youth of St. Thomas Aquinas, partnering with families, and providing opportunities to encounter Christ and pursue a personal relationship with Him. This ministry serves all public, private (both Catholic and non-Catholic), and home school students, in grades 7-12.
This year, our STA Young Catholics ministry will gather every Sunday evening from 6:00–7:30 PM in St. Anne Hall at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Our Sunday gatherings are intentionally crafted to accompany teens in their faith journey and create space for teens to connect and build meaningful relationships. You can read a brief overview of what our nights look like below.
Cultivate: This night invites teens to cultivate intentional community through conversations, service, and activities.
Rooted: This night invites teens to root their lives in Christ and encounter Him through Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, praise and worship, and silent prayer.
Equip: This night allows a community of teens to learn and be equipped with the teachings of our Catholic faith as a large group.
Connect: This night invites teens to connect with their small group in growing as missionary disciples.

Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, Catholics receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit and deepening of the baptismal graces needed to grow as mature disciples of Christ in the life of the Church. Here at St. Thomas, Confirmation is offered to teens 8th grade and older who have gone through preparation both formally and informally.
