The Society of St Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic lay organization that leads men and women to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to our neighbors in need. Our STA conference members are called to a life of holiness, friendship, and service to the poor. We provide assistance with rent, utilities, food, and toiletries to those in our parish boundaries, which include portions of zip codes 75204, 75206, 75214, 75231, and 75243.
If you feel called to help those in need, we would love to have you join our ministry! We need your time and talents and are especially in need of Spanish speaking members. In order to become a Vincentian, you need to be up to date on your safe clearance. Once verified, we can get you cleared through our council and welcome you into our weekly meetings. You will be along side seasoned Vincentians who can help you determine how best to help our neighbors.
We are not able to do any of our work without your financial assistance. Monetary donations can be made in the following ways:
Send a check made payable to STA SVdP to the parish office at 6306 Kenwood Ave, Dallas, TX 75214. Or you can drop it in the collection baskets at any Mass.
ParishSOFT: You can setup a one time or recurring donation through the ParishSOFT program through the church.
We have a PayPal and Venmo account listed below to make donations directly to our conference.
Donations may also be made by bringing gently used household goods and clothing to our thrift store truck, which is periodically in our church parking lot. Please look in the bulletin or call our hotline for the next Bundle Sunday. You may also drop off donations at our SVdP Thrift Store, located at 3052 W Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75220.
