CURRENT VOLUNTEERSThe Diocese has moved to a new Safe Environment platform called VIRTUS.
If you have already created a User ID and password in VIRTUS, please use those credentials to log in.
If you have never signed into VIRTUS, please follow the steps below to access your VIRTUS profile.
How to Update in Virtus:- Go to www.virtus.org
- Enter the email address you previously used on the old Safe Environment platform.
- Select “I need login help” and follow the prompts to reset your password.
- Once you have completed the assigned module, please send me an mail me to let me know you’ve completed the course.
- Please note that you can no longer select your own training video. A training module will be assigned to you a few weeks before your renewal is due. Watch for an email from Virtus and complete the module as soon as possible so your account does not go inactive. Check your spam folder too.
- If your homepage says you need a background check, I will take care of that.
- I recommend keeping track of the expiration date listed on your badge. Badges now expire on the exact date you complete your most recent training, not at the end of the month as in the past. If you don’t update prior to your due date, your account will go inactive.
- Your Safe Environment badge will be mailed to the address listed in your Virtus profile, so be sure your address is correct before you log off.
